Paul Marcum, or Brother Art as he is known by his trio alter-ego name, has been a square dance caller since the 1960's. One of the best known callers in his profession, Paul has performed and called dances all over the world to the delight of thousands. He knows how to keep the floor moving. For added entertainment, Paul will turn off the music during a patter call and just call "accapella". And just when the dancers think he's lost, he turns the music back up exactly on the beat.
His discography lists 36 songs he recorded through the years for 4-Bar-B Records, ESP, Hit Kicker, Pioneer, Roadrunner, and Square Tunes.
His witty sayings and jokes between records, and his love of the activity sets Paul apart from other callers.
Paul and his lovely wife, Sue, live on an estate east of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
