The third member of the Shed House 3, "Cousin Fargo", Gene Aldridge received the gift of the love of music from his Mother and Dad. It was in his teenage years that he began to realize that God had given him a special gift, a singing voice. Being involved in vocal music all his life from opera to choral (Millsaps College, Class of '71) to choral conducting and composing to square dance calling, Gene has entertained people from Oklahoma to Florida. Singing the high harmony is what he really enjoys.
" Modern up-beat square dance music is popular, but the 'Golden Oldie' standards are just as popular. To newer dancers, they are brand new, and to the older dancers, they bring back warm memories".
Gene and his wife of 38 years, Joyce, live in Smyrna, Tennessee.
